Ian F

Ian is a British Diplomat, a Senior Coaching Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and Master of Business Administration. With a family background dedicated to learning and development (both of Ian’s parents were Head Teachers and his wife is Principal of a British School) Ian would be delighted to work with internationally focused business executives, using his natural, authentic, warm, intuitive, and caring teaching style.  His clients’ interests are at the heart of what he does.  

 

Ian’s diplomatic career has taken him to Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, where he has worked with colleagues across a range of cultures on leading and managing change, critical conversations, leadership, performance, personal impact, relationship management, restructuring, role transition, prioritisation, and career planning.  His most recent overseas posting was to Minsk, Belarus as the UK's Deputy Ambassador.  

 

Beyond coaching, Ian's time is spent chatting to his two grown-up children, travelling to new places, watching sport, listening to music, and reading about current affairs.  He loves working with people who are curious about themselves and the world around them.
